A specialized business index which provides access to a wide range of literature including scholarly journals, news, trade publications, etc. Topics include advertising, management, marketing, economics, human resources, finance, taxation, and computers. Many articles are full-text.

An interdisciplinary database which provides access to a wide range of literature including peer-reviewed journals, news, magazines, etc. Many articles are full-text.

Business Source Premier EBSCOhost

Provides access to a wide range of business literature including scholarly business journals, news, magazines, trade publications, market research, etc. Many articles are full-text.

CINAHL Plus with Full Text EBSCOhost

Provides indexing and abstract access to journal literature in the field of nursing and allied health. May be helpful for researching some health administration topics.

Criminal Justice Abstracts (CSA)

Contains abstracts of international literature on criminology and related disciplines. Subjects include crime trends, crime prevention and deterrence, juvenile delinquency, juvenile justice, police, courts, punishment and sentencing.


Offers access to electronic books, maps, reports, and other authoritative documents from academic, trade, and professional publishers. Topics include health sciences, business, economics, computers, technology, education, and selected social & behavioral sciences. Note: to use ebrary, you must first download and install the ebrary Reader on your computer.

Provides indexed access to journals published by Emerald . Subjects include management, information science, education, health, science, public policy, and criminal justice. Full text journal content is available for selected titles and dates.

Issues & Controversies

Issues and Controversies is similar in depth and scope to the well-known print reference source from Facts on File. The database is an efficient way to research contentious contemporary issues while providing analysis and background information. 


Backfiles of scholarly journals in many subject areas. Coverage begins with the very first issues, many of which date from the 1800s, and extends to a "moving wall" of 2 to 5 years prior to the most recently published issue. For recently publish material, please use other databases. 

Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe

Provides full-text access to literature in many subject areas, including news, legal, government, business, medicine and health. Also includes state and country profiles, state and federal case law, and much more.

A Matter of Fact WebSPIRS

Indexes statements reflecting public policy issues and statistically supported arguments. Selected writers and speakers are chosen from congressional hearings, the Congressional Record, general and specialized periodicals, newsletters, and newspapers.


MEDLINE provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree hierarchy, subheadings, and explosion capabilities to search citations.

A multidisciplinary index to the journal literature of the social sciences. It fully indexes more than 1,725 journals across 50 social sciences disciplines. Web of Science databases are designed to aid research via citation analysis.
