The School of Business, Public Administration
and Information Sciences is one of five schools at
Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus.
The University, founded in 1926, is located in downtown
Brooklyn and serves over 10,000 students.
The mission of the School is to provide students with
the educational foundation for successful careers in an ever-changing
global marketplace. The
School offers innovative programs on a residential campus in
Brooklyn located in close proximity to some of New York City’s
most influential companies and organizations.
The academic environment emphasizes small classes with
a practical application of theory. A diverse student body allows
for an open and welcoming atmosphere.

We offer Bachelor of Sciences (B.S.) degrees
in six areas:

Computer
Science
Finance
Information
Systems
Management
Marketing
We also offer an Associate's
Degree in Business Administration, a five-year
B.S./M.S. program in Accounting and minors in each concentration.
The
Curriculum
The Business Core
A 33-credit foundation in the key aspects
of business, featuring introductory and advanced courses in
Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, Management, Marketing,
Law and Quantitative Analysis.
Area of Concentration
15 credits of coursework in your selected
major to build the skills needed for a successful career.
Business Electives
15 credits of advanced business electives
allow students to pursue courses of interest in any field.
Liberal Arts Studies
65 credits in the arts, social sciences,
and natural sciences provides the groundwork for a complete
professional education.
