Seymour Pardo, Ph.D.

Dr. Seymour Pardo is a visiting assistant professor at the Long Island University psychology department. He was an adjunct professor at LIU in the doctoral program for ten years prior to his current position. He currently teaches clinical practicum in the doctoral program and Social Psychology, Personality Theory and Introduction to Clinical Psychology in the Bachelor’s program. He has been supervising doctoral candidates for the last 12 years.

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at McGill University and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Long Island University in 1992. He has a private practice in New York City working with children, adults and couples. He also consults on corporate mediation cases. He has interests in psychotherapy and the creative process; psychotherapy with a college population; cross-cultural issues with couples, clinical supervision and training.
