Orientation is a day where you will discover more about our campus, meet your fellow new students and interact with faculty and staff. Throughout the day you will be part of a team, led by one of our amazing orientation leaders who will guide you around campus and answer all of your questions.

In addition:

•  Understand core, major and graduation requirements

•  Receive important academic planning and course registration assistance from your academic advisor

•  Activate and learn how to use your MyLIU account

•  Meet with various departments such as: Financial Services, Bursar, Residence Life and other student support services

•  Receive assistance with some of your questions about LIU
