Academic Libraries of Brooklyn [ALB]:

The ALB is a cooperative network of seven Brooklyn college and university libraries. Current LIU students, staff, and faculty are allowed reading and borrowing privileges (two books maximum) at member libraries. Users must present a valid school ID as well as an ALB Card to gain access. ALB cards are available at the circulation desk on the 5th floor of the library. Member libraries:

METRO Libraries:

METRO, the Metropolitan New York Library Council, is a nonprofit organization consisting of 268 member libraries located in greater New York City and Westchester County. LIU students and faculty are entitled to visit METRO libraries by appointment only. Please see a librarian at the Reference Desk on the 3rd floor of the library for details.
