Literary criticism
includes explanations and evaluations of the works of individual
authors, and discussions of literary theories, genres, movements
or a country's literature. To locate books or journals containing
literary criticism, search the library catalog or online databases
using the relevant subject headings or keywords. For further assistance,
ask a Reference Librarian.

an individual author and his or her work can be found under
the author's name. For example:

a country's literature or nationality can be found under
the name of that country or nationality. One can also search by
