Research
 The
Department of Biology is located on four floors of a thirteen-story
building. Areas are available for research include laboratories,
staff offices, a tissue-culture laboratory, a darkroom,
a cold room, an instrumentation room, and an incubator
room. Instrumentation includes a preparative ultracentrifuge,
recording spectrophotometers, chromatographic and electrophoretric
instruments, liquid scintillation counters, phase and
fluorescence microscopes, physical and ultrasonic cell
disrupters, a fluorometer, thermal cyclers, electroporation
instruments, and a microplate reader. |
