  •  Checklist before Commencement

  • Would you like to help make Commencement a dignified and memorable event? Then volunteer to be a commencement marshal.

    Marshals assist with field seating for guests, the student line-up, answering questions and by helping make sure the event takes place in an orderly way.

  •  1  Faculty should complete the Marshal Form and return to Cris Gleicher. Return to: Cris Gleicher, Honors Program, Pratt 310

  •  2  Click here to complete & submit the Commencement Marshal form

  •  3  Faculty who need to order a cap and gown for Commencement can do so by filling out a cap and gown order form. If you do not have need a form please see Harriet Goldsmith in M409.

  •  Information Sessions for Marshals 
  •  
  •  4  Marshal volunteers are required to attend information session prior to Commencement. The information sessions are scheduled according to your assignment. You will told of your specific assignment the first week of May.
  •  
  •  5   Information sessions for associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees, is on Wednesday, May 12 at 10:00 a.m. on the field under the tent.

    Information Sessions for doctoral degrees is Wednesday, May 12 at 12:00 in Pratt 310. 

  •   Commencement: May 13, 2010- Today is the day! 
  •  
  •  6  Generally, marshals should arrive on campus by 8:00 am, unless told otherwise.
  •  
  •  7  Faculty may enjoy breakfast and robe in the Jonas Board Room, second floor of the Metcalf building.
  •  
  •  8  Join us for a Commencement BBQ directly after the ceremony.
  •  
  •  9  Please participate in your School's Dean's Reception.
