Most,
though not all, recent LAST administrations have included
writing assessments which require candidates to read short
arguments that provide a group's or person's position on some
issue. These arguments are similar to those one would
read in the editorial sections of major newspapers, so practice
reading, summarizing, and responding to them as a way to prepare
for the exam.
