The Academic Advisement Center (AAC) is a diverse, talented and caring group of professional academic advisors with various educational backgrounds. We are dedicated to educating, guiding and advocating for most incoming freshmen, transfer and displaced students OUR MOTTO: ‘ A Spirit Of Excellence’

  • You may request a tutor for various subjects at the Academic Reinforcement Center or a tutor to assist with your writing at the Writing Center in addition to other services these two offices provide.

  • You may inquire about the HEOP program and how you may become eligible and receive academic support at the Higher Education Opportunity Program website.

  • You may contact the Career Services office for assistance in job placement, internship, work study & America Reads Program in addition to resume writing workshops and interview skills assessment.

  • If you need to talk to someone you may contact Psychological Services. Because sometimes life can get stressful ... and talking helps.
