The Honors Program accepts incoming freshmen, transfer students and students already enrolled at the Brooklyn Campus. Selection is based on a student’s academic record and an interview. High school applicants generally have a high school average of 85 or above and/or a combined SAT score of 1050 or higher. Students transferring from other universities and currently enrolled Brooklyn Campus students should contact a program administrator to discuss specific requirements. Students who enter the Program after their first semester are required to have strong academic records and excellent writing skills.

The application process is simple. Fill out the information form, write the essay and then make an appointment for an interview. The interview is an important component of the application process. You can submit your application and essay on-line, or mail it to us, or bring it in person to Pratt 310, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
