True to its roots, the Brooklyn Campus offers a variety of community-based programs that promote civic responsibility. Under the supervision of faculty and staff members, students act as business consultants, prepare tax returns, perform fieldwork for community agencies, provide health care and educational services, and assist their neighbors in myriad other ways. These efforts help them to gain career-related experience, while at the same time, serve to foster within them a sense of community responsibility and pride.
