| RESEARCH FOR THE COMMUNITY |
While primarily a teaching institution, the Brooklyn Campus additionally supports unique centers and programs that pursue specialized research. Brooklyn Campus faculty members often undertake research projects that focus on issues related to our urban setting and to the specific concerns of community members. With support from the Campus, the National Institutes of Health and other major funders, researchers also contribute to the well-being of the community with projects related to issues such as health and ethnicity and inner city employment practices.
