Jazz Clinics

In a casual setting, top jazz artists perform and talk about their work and lives while offering tips and encouragement
to student musicians, who sometimes join in the performances. Clinicians have included the renowned Kenny Barron, Joe Henderson, Slide Hampton, Jimmy Heath and Sheila Jordan. The Brooklyn Campus music department has sponsored these entertaining and instructive events during the fall and spring semesters since 1990.

For information and schedules, call music department Chairman Robert Aquino at (718) 488-1668, or visit www.brooklyn.liu.edu/music. Jazz Clinics are free and open to the public.
