Brooklyn Campus Galleries
With three galleries, the Brooklyn Campus annually presents 21 new exhibitions of paintings, sculpture, photographs, prints and other art forms by emerging and established artists. This thriving and diverse exhibition program, curated by the art department, reflects the strong Brooklyn Campus commitment to excellence in an exhibition program that is
accessible to both students and the community. Its newest venue, in addition to the Salena Gallery and Nathan Resnick Showcase Gallery, is the Humanities Building Gallery, which was inaugurated with an exhibition of black-and-white works by acclaimed photographer Arthur Leipzig.
Located in the lobby of the Kumble Theater, the glass-enclosed
elliptically shaped gallery showcases unique presentations of projects and installations, many of which could not be displayed anywhere else. Gallery hours are from Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., and Saturday/Sunday from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (The Humanities Building Gallery is closed on the weekends.)
