Latin American & Caribbean Studies Program

Providing a comprehensive overview of the history and perspectives of the Latin American-Caribbean region, this Program offers conferences, seminars, cultural activities and lectures. In addition, it can be taken as an academic minor. Speakers have included Nobel Peace Prize laureate and Guatemalan indigenous leader Rigoberta Menchú, Dominican journalist and former government official Hamlet Herman, and former Guatemalan minister Alfonso Bauer Paiz.
