EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY
Extension Programs

Since 1989, the Brooklyn Campus has supported higher education in economically disadvantaged communities by offering classes at locations convenient for adult learners in various neighborhoods. Extension Programs that lead to
associate’s degrees are available in Brooklyn’s Ridgewood/Bushwick, East New York and Bedford-Stuyvesant/St. Christopher Ottilie sections. The Ridgewood/Bushwick program also offers bachelor’s degrees in sociology and
elementary education.

For information, contact Oswaldo Cabrera at (718) 488-1397. Students receive tuition discounts and are encouraged to take advantage of the support services available at the main campus, including tutoring, career and personal counseling, computer labs and the library.
